School & Nursery Training
Confident Kids offers comprehensive and cost effective training for SENCOs, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Keyworkers, in nurseries and schools, to support them in meeting their student’s needs. Take a look at our Training Menu for available workshops and costs.
We offer:
Staff training (Twilites/INSET or online)
Bespoke 1:1 training for support staff in meeting individual children’s needs
Coaching/ mentoting support for SENCos
Bespoke Training
Training for teachers, teaching assistants and keyworkers is targeted to the individual child by:
Defining need
Designing objectives and achievable goals relevant to the school or nursery setting
Devising programs that are straightforward, goal-focussed and concise, and
Providing training to carry these out.
Reviews of the process are encouraged to ensure the programs are effective in meeting the set targets and that the teacher, keyworker or teaching assistant is confident in applying and adapting the program as the child’s skills develop.
Large Group Training
Larger group training sessions are run regularly.
